Emily possesses a unique magic that allows her to create holes that she draws, within which she can control a person's speed, protect them, or even trap them for a period of 12 hours and 15 minutes. She can also control her own speed inside there. It takes 27 hours to recharge her unique magic if she wants to use it again, whether is a person or object. If she uses it beyond the limit, Emily can become short of breath and faint, and in severe cases, overdose.

Emily accidentally enrolled in Night Raven College, even though she was supposed to attend Royal Sword Academy with her foster sister. Clumsy, childish, and innocent are three words that perfectly describe Emily. The magic mirror was confused when sorting Emily's dorm, and she was surprisingly placed in Heartslabyul. Emily is also unable to take care of herself, so she is often helped by Trey or Scarletta. Despite her clumsiness, Emily always strives to become a great witch, even though her actions sometimes unintentionally cause trouble for those around her.
Having once faced death and experienced unpleasant encounters with Riddle's mom anger, Emily became afraid of dying and always tried to keep Riddle from getting angry (although she still failed due to her carelessness and ignorance). Emily was a moody girl, whose actions and attitudes depended on her changing moods.
Emily was adopted by the wealthy and prodigy Radcliff family. She had previously lived with the Watson family, who were not wizards, but her entire family died in a fire. While she was living with the Watsons, she was always starved and ridiculed by her father. Her mother also neglected her, so Emily grew up to be a quiet girl.
Arvy, Emily's adoptive brother, took her in when he sensed that Emily had magical abilities. The Radcliff family was a wealthy family, and both Mr. and Mrs. Radcliff were talented wizards. Instead of being treated as a servant, Arvy's parents adopted Emily because they also really wanted a daughter. Emily and Arvy were always together until Arvy entered the Royal Sword Academy, which meant she had to work even harder to get into the same place (this baby blue-haired girl almost disguised herself as a boy if she had succeeded). However, who would have thought that she was picked up by the Night Raven College carriage. Not wanting to disappoint the Radcliff couple, she saw this as an opportunity and enrolled as a first-year student at Night Raven College.
At first, Emily had a hard time adapting to Riddle's strict rules. She often complained, even though she tried to remember and obey half of them. However, she still ended up breaking the rules due to her carelessness. After March and AdeuceGrim overcame Riddle's overblot, Emily returned to her usual self with Arvy. She grew close to March and often stayed at Ramshackle (mostly because she was kicked out by Riddle). Emily also got to know Malleus because she often stayed there. Malleus frequently met Emily, who invited him to parties, and she used Malleus as an excuse for being late, which Riddle naturally didn't accept. Even though that was the truth.
