About Song:
"Heart"
(Sua’s side-story/sub-song from Alien Stage, sung by C!naH) is one of the most heartbreakingly complex tracks in the series. On the surface, Sua and Mizi’s relationship is often romanticized as the pure, ideal bond of the series.
However, "Heart" completely pulls back the curtain on Sua’s internal psyche, revealing a deeply tragic, self-loathing, and intense love that parallels Ivan's in ways most fans overlook.
Song Analysis:
From the very first lines, the song establishes a massive divide between what Sua projects and what she actually feels:
"Mind, empty mind. Please don't look into my eyes... And now, under that mask of mine / You don't wanna watch what's inside."
Sua was raised by her alien guardian, Nigeh, who objectified her like a doll, hyper-focusing on physical appearance. This bred a profound sense of low self-esteem. The "mask" represents the cold, composed exterior she presents to the world, hiding a deeply chaotic internal world. She genuinely believes that if anyone—even Mizi—sees her true, unfiltered self, they would find it repulsive.
The chorus directly foreshadows Round 1 of Alien Stage (where she faces Mizi in a death match) and proves that Sua always intended to die so Mizi could live:
"Closing credit, when curtain fall down / Got naege sseugo dalkomhan (Soon a bitter and sweet) / Poison glass will be in my mouth, rather."
Sua views her impending death not just as a tragic necessity, but almost as a relief. The "poison glass" is bitter because she has to leave Mizi, but "sweet" because she successfully ensures Mizi's survival. To Sua, her own life has zero intrinsic value outside of her ability to protect Mizi.
The most striking part of the song is the linguistic play in the outro, which serves as a massive narrative parallel to Ivan's "Paratise":
"Hurt, that's where I wanna fit... Heart, that's where I wanna settle down for good."
There is a brilliant, dark duality here. Sua sings about wanting to be Mizi’s "heart"—to be the core of her life, warmth, and survival. But she replaces "heart" with "hurt." * The Parasitic Parallel: Much like Ivan singing about wanting to live in Till like a parasite, Sua views her love as inherently invasive. She knows that by dying for Mizi, she is going to leave an agonizing, permanent scar on Mizi's psyche.
"I versus I / Jalnaui somangdo end is closer (Even the fleeting hope, the end is closer) / Naega jin kkumeun filthy as hell, So please save me."
The "I versus I" highlights her internal warfare. Part of her wants to live, to escape to the stars, and to love Mizi normally. But the other part has already accepted defeat under the alien regime. Calling her own dreams "filthy as hell" shows her intense guilt—she likely feels dirty for wanting a normal life, or feels that her possessive desire to shelter Mizi from the cruelty of the world is inherently selfish.
Relate to Kumiko:
"Heart" proves that Sua is not just a passive, tragic victim; she is a deeply complex character whose love is incredibly heavy, bordering on consuming. She willingly drinks the poison so Mizi can have the stage, choosing to transform from a living girl into a permanent "heartache" that Mizi will carry forever.
