A girl who is often called strange by those around her. Her hobby is daydreaming, imagining scenarios from the pages of the books she reads. She is kind-hearted, but hides something behind her smile.
Kumi has baby blue hair that reaches her upper back. Her bangs are straight, with both sides pinned back with X-shaped clips. Her irises are sapphire blue, appearing slightly gem-like when viewed up close. Her clothes are quite simple, like those of a typical village girl. She often wears teal-colored clothes (because March likes green). Her lips are pink, her skin is white, and her cheeks blush easily.
After meeting Yves, she often braided the right side of her hair behind her ear. She also wore earrings similar to those worn by Yves after they got engaged.
He was the shortest among all the princes—even shorter than Yves.
Kumi was born in Obsidian, but shortly after her birth, both of her parents died. Belial, who witnessed the Radcliff family massacre by bandits, quickly took Kumi out of the country to Rhodolite. He entrusted Kumi to his friend, March Snowden, then returned to Obsidian for revenge.
Growing up in Rhodolite, Kumi was very well cared for and loved by March. He even spoiled her. Even so, Kumi did not grow up to be a spoiled girl, only a little childish and quite naive. She was kind-hearted and a little bit oddball, according to the people around her. However, she did not know her family background. No one ever told her. The girl only knew that her parents had died on a trip.
Kumi knew of Belial's existence because he occasionally visited her and March to deliver new books. Over time, she realized that relations between the two countries were not good. That was why Belial often sneaked in to meet them both.
She only hoped that the whole country could live in peace and harmony. Until one day, she was chosen to be Belle by the Rhodolite palace itself. It was there that she first met Yves. Their first encounter was not exactly pleasant. They argued, and Kumi even disliked the fifth prince's arrogant behavior. However, as time passed, she realized that beneath the surface, he was actually a kind-hearted person. Someone that she has to protect and care about, not to pity him.

At first, their relationship was not very harmonious. They often argued because of their differences of opinion, and neither of them was willing to back down. In addition, Yves often scolded her, while Kumi did not like being reprimanded like that. Gradually, they came to understand each other when they saw the circumstances and situation. Kumi thought Yves was kind—too kind, in fact. Kumi hated it when he put on a sad face. When everyone was treating Yves badly, Kumi wanted to encourage and support Yves so that he wouldn't fall and feel alone, that he is deserved everything. After realizing that they both liked each other, they began to be honest about their feelings and protect each other. However, sometimes Yves still tried to do everything on his own, which made Kumi angry with him. They loved each other so much that the princes couldn't bear to separate or scold them (occasionally, they teased this adorable couple).
Apparently, Yves is really afraid if Kumi getting hurt or died. He is almost goes berserk when they are kidnapped by traitor in Obsidian and he saw her getting drowned in a well.
